  3. Examples of Multiplication • 6x6=36 9x9=81 • 10x10=100 5x5=25 • 8x8=64 10x5=50 • 12x12=144 4x4=16 • 11x11=121 5x9=45

  4. Division is when you divide a number by another number. When you are trying to work out a division sum you can use the bus shelter method. This is the bus shelter method: 13r6 answer 7 97 (7x7) - 49 48 - 42 (6x7) 6 On computers the division symbol is this ‘/’.

  5. Examples of division 24/4=6 10/5=2 30/3=10 15/5=3 40/4=10 24/6=43 65/5=13 36/4=9 84/6=14 64/8=8
