  2. Important Facts • Size: 30 ft • Trunk: Slender, grows up to a height of 25 feet, and forms multiple stemmed clumps • Leaf: Can reach 9' in length, and has bipinnate leaflets, with a ragged edge and a distinctive fishtail shape • Origin: Indonesia

Furthering of this Great Species • Reproduction: Seeds are divided and dispersed in clumps • Cultivation: Needs full sun, good drainage, moist soil, and high humidity for easy and quickly germination.A very nice indoor plant, it tolerates heavy shade and light frosts and does well in indoor containers. • Fruit: Round, 3/4 inch in diameter - Contains stinging acidic crystal in the pulp and should be handled carefully; however, the seed kernels are edible the beautiful seed of the fishtail
