The Gospel Calls All Men • Called by the gospel (2 Thess. 2:14) • The gospel is God’s power to save (Rom. 1:16) • We must hear the commands of the gospel • Believe (1 John 3:23) • Repent (Acts 17:30) • Confess (Matt. 10:32-33) • Be baptized (Acts 2:38) • Called to be saints (1 Cor. 1:2) • Call still rings out (Matt. 11:28-30)

  3. The Call To Faithfulness • Make our calling sure (2 Pet. 1:10) • Not all the called will be chosen (Matt. 22:14) • Only the faithful (Rev. 2:10) • Only the persevering (Matt. 10:22) • Only the fruit-bearing (John 15:2,6) • We are chosen of God to be obedient to Him.

  4. The World Also Calls Us • 1 John 2:15-17 • Demas answered this call (2 Tim. 4:10) • Everyone should refuse this call (Prov. 1:10)

  5. The Call Of The Conscience • Conscience condemns or approves (1 John 3:20-21) • Must be governed by knowledge of God’s word • Acts (23:1; 26:9) • Call of conscience effected men • Jacob (Gen. 32) • Felix (Acts 24:24-25) • We can also neglect our conscience and harden our heart toward sin!

  6. The Call Of Death Comes To All • Everyone will answer (Heb. 9:27) • A separation of body and spirit (Eccl. 12:7; Jms 2:26) • We think of death as a bad thing. • It can be gain (Phil. 1:21) • 1 Corinthians 15:50 • “They’ve gone to a better place.” • Time of call is uncertain (James 4:14)

  7. The Call To Judgment • All will answer this call (Jn 5:28-29; Matt. 25:31-34) • When the roll is called, will our names be there? • Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess • Romans 14:11-12

  8. Voices Are Calling • The Gospel,The World, The Conscience, • Death,Judgment • Who are we going to hear?
