  4. 2. When the subject of both clauses is the same person or thing, the preposition antes de, en caso de, para, and sin + infinitive are used instead of the conjunction. Te llamaré en caso de que tu hermano tenga problemas. vs. llámame en caso de tener problemas. Te llamaré antes de que me vaya. vs. Te llamaré antes de irme.
