This paper presents a pioneering e-learning model designed to enhance foreign language instruction for learners who lack direct access to traditional classrooms. Inspired by Dr. Fischer's vision of "anytime, anywhere" learning, the model incorporates Web 2.0 technologies to facilitate interactive information sharing and collaborative learning. It outlines the structure of the lessons, the integration of various Web 2.0 applications, and focuses on training faculty for effective blended learning environments. The project includes delivering 40 lesson models and a 20-hour faculty workshop.

1.0 Objectives • Lessons are designed for learners who have limited proficiency – ILR Level 0+ to Level 1 • Lessons feature activities incorporating various web 2.0 applications: • Linoit , MindMeister, Quizlet, Twitter, Voxopop • Wallwisher, Wordle, VoiceThread, Voki, Goaminate • Google Map, GoogleDoc, Wiki, Skype, etc. • Most of the activities are designed to be asynchronous with an exception of Skype activities.
1.1. Objectives: Faculty Development Teacher training: • Command Campaign Plan (L3 T10), “Prepare DLIFLC faculty to work effectively in a blended learning environment,…” • Use E-learning lesson plan models as a resource in preparing DLIFLC faculty members for teaching in a blended learning environment. • Train faculty members to be capable of managing e-learning classroom (asynchronous/synchronous) and facilitating learner collaboration
