  4. PHILIPPINE health TOURISM PROGRAM Rationale • The HEALTH AND WELLNESS craze is big business and is growing at a very fast pace. Its impact on travel and tourism is very evident as its likely future growth in demand has been identified by market research, signaling health tourism’s future potential. • The increased awareness of the importance of healthy living and the need to take time off to relax and re-charge is a fairly widespread phenomena
