  1. Write Better Content With These Online Tools

  2. In the context of digital marketing, content has evolved in so many ways. In the past, content with plain text with images was enough. Then, videos became a thing. Today, web audiences are more sophisticated. There is a need for more interactive and dynamic forms of content such as AMPlified content. AMP provides a richer internet experience that satisfies the more sophisticated web users. Even so, the written form of content will continue to be an important media for as long as the internet exists. It is inevitable and an essential part of your marketing plan. Too often, it isn't as easy to go through with as with any part of your routine. At one point, you may find yourself stuck deep in the rabbit hole in the middle of your research. It is easy to get distracted by all the noise around you, struggle with the technicalities of grammar or be lost for words. Talk about the proverbial writer's block. Luckily, there are countless online applications available at your fingertips. In fact, there is almost an application for each writing woe you can think of. There is even one for each trivial writing problem you may not be even aware of. We listed some web applications that will take care of the nitty-gritty so you can focus on building your idea better.

  3. GRAMMAR & STYLE TITLES Grammarly is a handy tool for correcting grammar and over 250 spelling mistakes. It also covers poor vocabulary usage and overused words. It allows you to set the version of the English language (American or UK). You can also add technical terminologies to its dictionary and save your draft on the app. I use Grammarly for everything that I write - emails, web content and blog posts ever since I discovered it. At times, you are not sure how to write your title and could not get started. Enter three nouns (topics or keywords) to the Hubspot Blog Topic Generator. The tool will generate five headline ideas for you. If you are not sure which words should be capitalised, the Title Case and Smartweb Solutions' Convert Case Tool convert the words into title case in an instant. Hemingway Editor is a good alternative for grammar and style. It lets you stick with your style but helps you write bold and clear content. Short sentences and small paragraphs are ideal for online content. They promote ease in reading and scanning of the web page.

  4. VOCABULARY PRODUCTIVITY We're humans; not machines. There are times we know exactly what we are trying to say but just can't spit out the right words. It's those "on-the-tip-of- my-tongue" moments that you will find OneLook Reverse Dictionary very useful. It lets you discover lists of similar words by the hundreds. This app prevents you from using the same words over and over that brings your readers counting. Upon identifying a repeated word, you can replace it with an appropriate synonym. When working on writing projects, time is of the essence. The internet has all the perfect tools to help you build your content, as well as for breaking your momentum, whether you like it or not. StayFocusd, as the name suggests, lets you remove distractions so you can work solely on your project. Disable web browsing temporarily or allow access to only some websites and content. You can also customise it to block specific content only, such as games and videos.

  5. UNIQUENESS AND ORIGINALITY Whether you are coming up with a "best" list or a "how-to" content, you will find yourself consolidating information from the web. Too often, these references use very familiar terms and phrases. It's easy to fall prey to adapting them to your content and run the risk of plagiarising the original work. Personally, I never publish my work without running it on Small SEO Tool's Plagiarism Checker for my peace of mind. There are hundreds of online applications out there that you will stumble upon. But you will find that only some matches your style and your needs. What matters is you achieve your goal in writing. Remember, these tools perform in a way to support your writing. It does not hurt though to brush up on your writing knowledge and skills. Nothing beats having the basics; what more if you can improve them to mastery level. Bookmark some of your trusted references on writing so you can always get back to them as needed.
