  1. AMAZING FACTS PRESENTS: $1000.00 REWARD FOR THE MISSING TEXT

  2. The 1st. night we saw an amazing time prophecy scanning 2600 years and describing in graphic detail, nothing takes God by surprise, and we can trust the Bible to be true to it’s Word. The 2nd night we saw why there can be a good God and a bad world because everyone has the freedom of choice… The 3rd night we saw the Anti Christ of Revelation 13: was also depicted in the Man Of Sin in 2nd Thes. Also described as the Little Horn power of Daniel 7: 10 Historical references were made as well as scores of verses.

  3. On the 4th night we saw Heaven was it a Fact or was it a Fancy. On the 5thnight we saw every time the word law or commandments were mentioned it was not necessarily talking about the ten commandments… The 6th night we saw the ten commandments were still binding on God’s people who have them written in their hearts under the New Covenant.

  4. The 7th night we saw God has a Sabbath and He is telling everyone He wants them to keep it and the Sabbath begins on Friday night at sunset and goes till Saturday at sunset. Tonight were going to offer $1000.00 to anyone if they can prove from God’s word that Sunday is the new Sabbath. We need to be absolutely convinced from the Word of God we have interpreted the Scriptures correctly because

  5. Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plaguesthat are written in this book: Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. So lets start our study for tonight in the book of John.

  6. John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. No matter who we are we can only be set free by the truth of God’s Word. There many definitions of truth in God’s Word tonight were going to look at three of the them. The truth about Jesus and the Sabbath. The truth being God’s Word. The truth about the law of God. Let us now look to the truth in God’s Word about the Sabbath and Jesus and what day He kept Holy.

  7. Luke 4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read. We spoke the last time we were together about some people saying they realized how Saturday was the Biblical Sabbath, but they kept Sunday in honor of the resurrection.

  8. Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Mat 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: Luk 21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

  9. We can see how Jesus kept the Sabbath………… And we know Jesus example to us is the truth, now lets look to the word for the truth

  10. Jesus gave us the commandment which said remember the Sabbath day because He knew we would forget, yet some feel the commandments and the Sabbath were for the Jews only. Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh dayfrom all his work which he had made. Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

  11. Exo 16:1 And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt. Exo 16:26 Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the Sabbath, in it there shall be none. Exo 16:27 And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh dayfor to gather, and they found none.

  12. Exo 16:28 And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws? Exo 16:29 See, for that the LORD hath given you the Sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. Exo 16:30 So the people rested on the seventh day.

  13. Exo 19:1 In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.

  14. This clearly shows the Commandments and the Sabbath were not for the Jew’s only. This took place 300 years before Israel became a Nation. Some may be saying this is Old Testament . Were New Testament Christians.

  15. Act 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks. • Some say Paul kept the Sabbath because the Apostolic church was not organized yet. *

  16. Act 15:1 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved. Act 15:2 When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question. *

  17. Act 15:4 And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them. Act 15:5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. Act 15:20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. Look at what day Paul kept when there wasn't a church to fellowship with.

  18. Act 16:12And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, and a colony:and we were in that city abiding certain days. Act 16:13And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither. We will keep the Seventh day, Saturday Sabbath in Heaven.

  19. Isaiah 66:22For as the newheavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. Isaiah 66:23And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. Jesus kept the Sabbath. The Apostles kept the Sabbath. We will keep the Sabbath in Heaven. Now lets look to the 1st day text…………….

  20. Now were ready to see if the first day text are saying to keep Sunday holy. There are 8 of them in the New Testament. Some people say they keep Sunday Holy because this was the day Christ arose from the tomb.

  21. Mat 27:63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. Mat 27:64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first. Mat 27:65 Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can. Mat 27:66 So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch. Mat 28:1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. Mat 27:57 When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple: Mat 27:58 He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered. Mat 27:59 And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,

  22. Mat 27:60 And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed. Mat 27:61 And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre. Mat 27:62 Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,

  23. Mat 27:63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. Mat 27:64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first…………………

  24. Mat 27:65 Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can. • Mat 27:66 So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch. • Mat 28:1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. (1st time). Luke 23:52-

  25. Luk 23:52 This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Luk 23:53 And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid. Luk 23:54 And that day was the preparation, and the Sabbath drew on. Luk 23:55 And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.

  26. Luk 23:56 And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; andrested the sabbath day according to the commandment. Luk 24:1 Now upon thefirst day, (2nd time) of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. Luk 24:2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. Luk 24:3 And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

  27. Now what have we found so far? They came to the sepulchre on Friday at the going down of the sun. They came to anoint His body but could not because the Sabbath had already begun. The Disciples kept the Sabbath, Jesus rested in the tomb on the Sabbath. They came back to work on Sunday by anointing the body but would not work on Saturday. 2nd time.

  28. Some Ministers say this was a meeting to commemorate the Resurrection of Jesus. Notice verse 19…………….. They did not even believe Jesus had risen from the dead at this point in time. Joh 20:1 The first dayof the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. Joh 20:19 Then the same day at evening, being thefirst dayof the week, when thedoors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. (4th time). *

  29. Mar 16:1 And when thesabbath was past,Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. Mar 16:2 And very early in the morning thefirst day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. Mar 16:9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils. Mar 16:10 And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept. (6TH TIME) They did not even believe Mary’s testimony about Jesus rising from the dead !!!

  30. Mar 16:11 And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not. Mar 16:12 After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country. Mar 16:13 And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them. Mar 16:14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, andupbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

  31. DOES IT SEEM LIKE THIS IS A CELEBRATION COMMEMORATING THE DEATH, BURIAL AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST? This was the 6th time only 2 remaining!!!!!!!!!!!!

  32. 1Co 16:1 Now concerning the collectionfor the saints,as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. 1Co 16:2 Upon thefirst dayof the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. (7th. Time). The Disciples were requesting monies to help relieve the needs of the brethren who were affected by a great famine.

  33. Act 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. Act 11:27 And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch. Act 11:28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar. Act 11:29 Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea: Act 11:30 Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas andSaul. Have you ever thought why God did not call the 1st day of the week the new Sabbath as opposed to the 1st day of the week? 7th time.

  34. Act 20:7 And upon thefirst day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. Act 20:8 And there weremany lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together. Act 20:9 And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.

  35. Act 20:10 And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him. Act 20:11 When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed. Act 20:12 And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted. Now the way we keep time and the way they kept time in the Bible is different.

  36. Lev 23:32 It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath. Mar 1:32 And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils. *

  37. Deu 16:6 But at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt. Neh 13:19 And it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the sabbath, I commanded that the gates should be shut, and charged that they should not be opened till after the sabbath: and some of my servants set I at the gates, that there should no burden be brought in on the sabbath day. Now that we see the days run from evening to evening, and the new day begins at the going down of the Sun Lets go back and look at Acts 20:7-

  38. Act 20:7 And upon the first day of the week,(8th) time when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. Act 20:8 And there weremany lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.

  39. Jesus did not want to die!!.

  40. Heb 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. Heb 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. Communion service. Baptism.

  41. Jas 2:12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
