Last Year Review - 2013 • At our 2013 Membership Meeting, many members said that some of our biggest challenges were: • Defining coaching for the lay person • Elevating the coaching profession • Promoting coaching as an understood and valued profession • Defining the value of coaching to our community • Letting the community know the value of professional coaching • Some of your wants were: • Spotlight from ICF Global • Newsworthy community impact
In 2013 We Delivered! • Our ICW signature event brought more than 90 attendees from the community and allowed each a better understanding of the different types of coaching/coaches and a live coaching experience at our round tables • We also received proclamations from government officials in Raleigh and Durham in recognition of the coaching profession • We won a global award for ICW from the ICF and now our efforts are paving the way for chapters around the globe to make their ICW a success and allow them to show the value of coaching in their communities
