  3. Roles • ELD Dept • Itinerant with more than one school • ELD School / School • ELD teacher or Resource teacher at one school (can see all classrooms at the school) • Teacher • Classroom teacher (can see her/his classroom)

  4. Use School City online wiht 1. Print Answer Sheets

  5. Print Answer Sheets School City Online at http://tusd1.schoolcity.com

  6. Select Assessment

  7. Filter for the Assessment • Check your Role • Select Assessment • Make sure year is 2016-17 • Select the District tab • Under Collection, choose English Language Development (If only Subject category is visible, under Subject, choose ELD) Click REFRESH

  8. Filter for the Assessment 1 2 4 5 3

  9. Click on Print

  10. Navigate to select students Click on the + sign to drill down to the specific student. Clicking on the □ next to teacher will select all students.

  11. Click on Print Answer Sheets

  12. Answer sheets will appear in PDF file Then click on the Print icon.

  13. Have students bubble in the answers on the printed answer sheet. • These answer sheets can be printed from any computer.

  14. Use either School City Online 2. Manually enter answers

  15. Manually enter answers • When would you enter answers? • Your answer sheets gets damaged and will not scan • You could not print answer sheets and had students write down answer • Students struggle bubbling the answer, so you work with the student and enter the answers for them.

  18. Scan Answer/Bubble sheets Log into School City Scan with your TUSD credentials Submit a work order/trackit to have the software installed. The download file can be located in the Help Menu.

  19. Save Detect Configure Scanned images stored in Schoolcity folder

  20. Bulk Scanning • This will scan several tests at the same time. • Place the bubble sheet with bubbles face up and the QR Code entering the scanner first. Start Bulk Scan

  21. Review Scan results Scanning error Successful scanning Make sure to scroll across the page to check all answer results Then look for the highlighted yellow errors.

  22. Fixing errors Click on Image Preview to see what was bubbled. Double-click on the yellow to make changes. Show answer sheet

  32. View Results Find the assessment Make sure the year is 2016-17 Click on Assessment

  33. View Results Under Subject, choose English Language Development and then Assessment Note: If you are an itinerant teacher and have more than one school, you filter for the School and then click REFRESH. Click Apply

  34. View Results Remember – Pretests are not aligned to standards. View pretests for proficiency level—beginning, intermediate, advanced. Unit tests are aligned to standards.
