  2. myASU and ASU Interactive • myASU - ASU Portal based on the Google Start page. It is a customizable start page that links to many systems. • ASU Interactive - almost a categorized table of contents to links for online services and sites at ASU.

  3. myASUCourses/Blackboard • ASU's primary Learning Management System - approximately 6500 course sites per semester with over 60,000 users. • Course sites • Face-to-face classes • Hybrid courses • Fully online courses • Development sites • Training sites

  5. Adobe Presenter • It is a plugin for PowerPoint that allows you to easily add narration to your slides • Used by instructors to add content to course sites • Windows only (Powerpoint 2003 and 2007) • Playback is for any platform that supports Flash content

  6. Safe Assign • Add-on to Blackboard • A plagiarism checking service that allows instructors to have all papers scanned and returned with originality reports.

  7. Respondus and StudyMate • Windows applications used to author assessments for Blackboard • Respondus is a tool for creating and managing exams that can be printed to paper or published directly to a Blackboard course. • StudyMate lets you create ten Flash-based activities and games using three simple templates.

  8. Wimba Voice Tools • Add-on to Blackboard • Wimba's web-based voice tools facilitate and promote vocal instruction, collaboration, coaching, and assessment. • Voice Discussions Boards • Voice Email • Voice Lecture recordings • Voice Chat

  9. Media Manager • Accessed though Blackboard • The Media Manager is a groups of streaming media servers that are accessed through a single web interface. These servers are designed to serve Windows Media, QuickTime, Real video files, and Windows Producer (narrated PPT files) • used by instructors to deliver content - most often linked from their Blackboard course sites.

  12. CourseWikis • It is a wiki that is requested thru CEM and access to the wiki is controlled by the roster. Instructors, TAs and students are automatically added.   13. Sakai • ASU's Open Source Learning Management System - Some instructors prefer to use Sakai for their courses. • Like Blackboard, Sakai is used for many purposes, primarily for online course sites. • http://sakai.asu.edu

  14. Course Enrollment Manager (CEM) • The system that connects enrollment from PeopleSoft to services like • Blackboard • iTunes • Sakai • CourseWikis. • It also allows instructors to manage enrollment, add new SLNs, add or suspend students, etc.
