  2. Journal Entries • What is the difference between rights and responsibilities is protected, such as the right to free speech and religion. A responsibility is a duty or something you should do, such as recycling or doing your homework. Voting is both right and responsibility! • Describe what a responsible citizen can do to protect their rights? Do what their told, follow the rules, and obey the laws. Or face the consequences of their actions. Most of all helping others and being responsible and respectful to the people surrounding you. • Define civil discourse and thoughtful deliberation. • Civil discourse is a engagement in conversation that is intended to enhance.

Well then… • Thesis Statement: Internet privacy involves the right or personal privacy concerning the storing, repurposing, providing to third-parties, and displaying of information pertaining to oneself via the internet. Internet privacy forms subset computer privacy. • Privacy can entail Personally Identifying Information (Pii) or non-Pii information such as a site visitor’s behavior on a website. • Piirefers to any information that can be used to identify an individual. • In modern technological world, millions of individuals are subject to privacy threats. • Its important not to put your personal information online.

My Proposed Law About Internet Privacy • I propose that a law be made which says. “ No Posting Private Information About Yourself, And Your Whereabouts In Anyway Online, or Social Networks. • Evidence that it protects individual rights (our opinion) • 1. It Protects You By People Not Knowing Your Every Move , And You Won’t Have A Stalker. • 2. It Is Safe That Your Personal Information Is On The Internet For People To See. • 3. It Protects You. • Evidence that it protects the common good (our opinion) • 1. Things You Put On The Internet Could NEVER Be Erased, For Your Benefit Where Trying To Prevent That. • 2. By You Not Posting Personal Things About Yourself, It Isn’t Offending Anyone. • 3. If Your Bosses Ask To See Your Facebook You Won’t Have Any

  5. How It Supports Individual Rights & Common good ! • INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS • We all have rights to privacy. The courts of the U.S enunciated the concept, which is not found expressly in the Constitution or any of the amendments, as part of the right to be left “alone” • Common GOODIES • The common good is that you putting things on the internet wont cause any problems.
