  11. Task 4 Project Manager, Collaboratively, select a chapter from Esperanza Rising and assign yourselves a page to read and record it in Evernote. Please follow the script given and the instructions that follow it: “Good morning, my name is _______. I am a participant at the Bilingual Summer Heat Academy. Today is June 14th 2013 and I am going to read page 10 from the chapter Los Melones- The Cantaloupes- from the novel Esperanza Rising by Pam Ryan Munoz.” Pause and read. • During reading, read all punctuations. • Close by saying, “Once again, I am _________. Thank you. • Text your recording to Mr. Euceda with a message. • Your message must include a greeting, body and a closing.

Task 5 Project Manager, Inform your team to complete the following tasks: • Write their name at the top of their assigned reading page. • Circle all unknown words in the chapter • At the end of the chapter, provide a word count of the unknown words • Clarify all unknown words through the use of translations, definitions, synonyms or antonyms • Using Evernote, photograph the page and text it to Mr. Euceda with a message that includes a greeting, a body, and a closing

Task 7 Project Manager, Have your team do the following: • Select a fruit from any of the chapters in the book. • Each team member must select a different fruit. • Create a 30 second video clip about the fruit. • Type your script on Evernote. • The script must have a greeting, body, and a closing. • Share your video clip. • Send to Mr. Euceda.
