  2. BENEFITS OF GROUP SINGING • It puts the human system in harmony and rhythm. • Children realize the value of co-operation. • Adds to the confidence of the child. • Songs remain in the mind, reminding children of their values and actions. • They remove barriers and promote peace.

  3. Songs can vary in nature. They can be calypsos, rap, folk, patriotic or can be composed. Poems can be created in the class and a tune can be applied to the words. Tapes of songs can be used if it is more comfortable for the teacher.
