  3. Main Activities (1) Korea-CERN Fellow * One fellow every year (two in 2009) * 2012. 9 - 2013. 8. 31 Myeonhoon Park (now at IPMU, U. of Tokyo, Japan) * 2012. 9 - present Chanbeom Park * 2013. 9. Ian Woo Kim starts to work (2) Graduate students * Do Young Mo will come to work with Prof. Giudice

  4. Young researchers produced

  5. 2013 activity report 1) papers: Korean fellows published total 17 papers in 2013 Myeonhoon Park participated as a theorist in CMS and published 57 CMS papers. 2) Proceedings: 5 presentations at International conferences.

  6. 2014 Plan • We plan to select on fellow for 2014 - 2016 • We plan to send two graduate students to CERN • We plan to co-organize with CERN two TH Institute in 2014.

  7. Korea-CERN TH Institute • Purpose • (1) Promoting the active participation of Korean scholars. • (2) Actively involving in selecting themes of institutes to promote models/theories by Korean scholars.

  8. Fields of TH Institues • Particle Phenomenology: four times in 3 years • String theory: four times in 3 years • Cosmology: twice in 3 years • Heavy Ion Physics: twice in 3 years • Collaborations with CERN theorists through TH Institutes

  9. CONCLUSION • 1. Theory collaboration is going well. • 2. For the second stage we plan to expand our program to promote intense collaborations with CERN TH. • 3. We plan to co-organize two CERN TH Institutes every year. • (Approved by MSIP)
