  2. Who are we? Located in Ithaca, NY, Tompkins County Public Library serves community residents at each stage of their lives by providing free and open access to the world's wisdom, knowledge, and information. The Finger Lakes Library System provides the OverDrive downloadable media service to it’s 33 member libraries and their patrons. This service extends to five counties in Central New York– Cayuga, Cortland, Seneca, Tioga and Tompkins.

  6. Lodi-Whittier Library serves a population of 1,476 in a rural area. TCPL serves a population of 96,501 the majority of which is in an urban setting.

  8. No paper pages to flip, but otherwise, it’s exactly like the print copy of the book. Title page… Illustrations… And the story begins…

What are digital rights? • Digital Rights “describes the permissions of individuals legitimately to perform actions involving the use of a computer, any electronic device, or a communications network.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_rights • Each format of downloadable media has different digital rights.

  10. Most eBooks on the OverDrive service do not allow you to copy or print any portion of the book.
