  3. Emergent technologies combined option unit F9HD 04 Section 1 Working Principles, Installation Options and Regulatory Requirements for Micro-Renewable Technologies, Water Harvesting and Recycling Technologies. This first section is mandatory for all candidates taking this unit

  4. Emergent technologies combined option unit F9HD 04 The candidate has to take two out of the three following options: • Solar Thermal • Heat pumps • Greywater Rainwater

Emergent technologies combined option unit F9HD 04 Section 1 Working Principles, Installation Options and Regulatory Requirements for Micro-Renewable Technologies, Water Harvesting and Recycling Technologies. Is a broad based theoretical unit which will give the learner an understanding of where all the options could/should be used. Assessment is by SOLAR e assessment.

  6. Emergent technologies combined option unit F9HD 04 Section 2 Install, Test, Commission and Handover Solar Thermal Hot Water Systems. Inspect, Service and Maintain Solar Thermal Hot Water Systems Knowledge assessment for this unit will be assessed by SOLAR e assessment. Complete working Solar thermal systems will be essential for practical assessment.

  7. Emergent technologies combined option unit F9HD 04 Section 3 Install, Test, Commission and Handover Heat Pump Systems. Inspect, Service Ground and Air Source Heat Pump Systems. Knowledge assessment for this unit will be assessed by SOLAR e assessment. Complete working Ground and air source heat pump systems will be essential for practical assessment.

  8. Emergent technologies combined option unit F9HD 04 Install, Test, Commission and Handover Rainwater Harvesting/Greywater Reuse Systems. Inspect, Service and Maintain Rainwater Harvesting/Greywater Reuse Systems Knowledge assessment for this unit will be assessed by SOLAR e assessment. Complete working Rainwater Harvesting/Greywater Reuse systems will be essential for practical assessment.
