Using the unit – Calling a tenant • Select language (if required) • Press the center button until desired language is displayed • Call Tenant: • Type in Tenant ID on keypad • Select tenant from list • Select List (press left button) • Use ↑ (left button) or ↓ (right button) to move cursor (>) to desired tenant • Press Call (center button) • Search tenant • Select Find (press right button) • Press the digit corresponding to the first letter of the desired tenant • Use ↑ or ↓ to move cursor (>) to desired tenant (if required) • Press Call (center button)

Programming the KTES – Accessing it • Access the VUI (Visual User Interface) • Hold the * key for 5 seconds (the unit will beep after 5 seconds) • Enter the default Installer PIN 8888 The star key * can also be used as the Exit or Escape key. The pound key # is the Enter key. Note: For security purposes, you should change your PIN to a different value as soon as possible.

  25. Programming the KTES – Entering text BkSp Caps Next The system support capital as well as lower cases letters. The panel middle key allows you to choose your preference: • Caps: First letter after a space is capitalized (default). • CAPS: All capital letters • caps: All letters will be lower case.
