What do young people need in the future to live and

work in attractive rural regions?

This is the main question of this research project,

that is supported by

“Sparkling Science” - research programme of Austrians Ministry of Science an Resarch

EU-Programme: Leader+

Municipality of Jesenice/SI

Project structure: 4 working phases

each phase starts and ends with a common workshop

1. Spittal/Drau Austria, 2. Val di Resia/ I, 3. Preddvor/SI, 4. Völkermarkt/A

During workshops the pupils are supported with

  • scientific methods by researchers
  • practical experience by Stakeholders

Between the workshops

  • the students work on their own
  • they are supported by their teachers
