  1. Your Guide to Getting Around Sydney If you are visiting Sydney to watch the beautiful natural sceneries around it, you’ll need the best means of transportation and accommodation. The Sydney Student Accommodation will sort your staying needs while in this city. However, you can use different transportation modes from where you stay to various destinations within Sydney. You can use light rail, buses or trains. To use any of the public transportation in Sydney, ensure you have an Opal card which you can get from a post office or the local newsagent. If you're planning to visit Sydney, this guide will help you understand the most reliable modes of transport to move around. Board a Train If you prefer moving by train from your residence in Sydney student accommodation, you’ll have plenty of trains to choose from. You can use the city circle train network, which has various stations around the city, providing the chance to board and alight from any end. The city circle train stations include the museum, town hall, central, circular quay, st James and Wynyard. The other point you can alight at is martin place. These stations allow you to reach the CBD easily anytime you're touring.

  2. You can also board the T4 suburbs and Illawarra line while going to the eastern suburbs of Sydney. This train has stations at central, town hall and martin place. If you want to tour the Blue Mountains, the Blue Mountain line will come in handy. Use Light Rail Another public transportation you can rely on from your room in Sydney student accommodation to any part of Sydney is the light rail. The light rail has three major lines operating to different destinations. The L1 begins its trip from central to Dulwich Hill, while L2 from Circular Quay to Randwick. The third line operates in Kingsford. Use L1 when going to Darling Harbor, Chinatown, glebe or Pyrmont. The other two lines are good when visiting Randwick, Sydney CBD or Surry Hills. Opt for Buses You can also move around Sydney to other places nearby using a bus. The bus stops are next to the Sydney student accommodation so you’ll not have to walk long to reach it. However, you have to master the bus timetable and your destination to be on the safer side. The Big Bus Tour of Sydney will also give you a different story to tell about this city as it moves all around it. Through the bus, you’ll be able to tour 33 areas within a day, enriching your city history.
