Here are some of our favourite affordable places to go for a weekend and escape the city. Hunter Valley Hunter Valley is home to wonderful winery varieties. They vary from those by smaller-family- owned businesses to those run by international brands. Many of these wineries have cellar door tastings and tours. The cost of accommodation at the Hunter is not too high. You should think of booking an Airbnb with friends to access cheap accommodation. Port Stephens Port Stephens is a famous summer weekend coastal destination for UNSW student accommodation residents and everybody else. You will find exquisite beaches, delectable cafes, and restaurants. You will find many affordable hotels at the two main towns of Nelson Bay and Shoal Bay to make your weekend hang out a memorable experience. Orange Orange is an expanding country town with historic buildings of New South Wales. It also has some of the great pubs and wineries. Beautiful scenery surrounds this lively town, with several nearby scenic bushwalking trails. A variety of cheap accommodation points assure a comfortable stay around Orange. Blue Mountains Blue Mountains is ideal for escaping UNSW student accommodation during a weekend getaway or even a day trip. You cannot be bored of incredible walking tracks, waterfalls, lookouts, and other tourist attractions.
