  6. WHAT LEGISLATION? • Control of Industrial Major Accident Hazards (CIMAH) - 1984 • Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) - 1999 • Civil Contingencies Act 2004

  7. WHY? • No one Agency can deal with an incident. • A Multi-Agency approach is needed. • A ‘Partnership’ approach works. Planning Training & Exercising Incident Management
