  1. FSVP- Foreign Supplier Verification Program Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) requirements are part of FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act), which was established in 2011. The final rule given in the FSMA FSVP Rule (21 CFR 1, 11 & 111) requires that importers perform certain risk-based activities to verify that food imported into the United States has been produced in a manner that meets applicable U.S. safety standards. This 2 day live-virtual interactive course will provide participants with the knowledge to implement the requirements of the “Foreign Supplier Verification Programs (FSVP) for Importers of Food for Humans and Animals” regulation of the US. This course will enable you to understand the requirements of the FSVP rule and how these requirements can be met. It will also help you to become a Qualified Individual under this rule. This course is designed to help participants understand the role of food importers under the new Foreign Supplier Verification Programs (FSVP) rule, part of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
