Overview GERMANY • Berlin, June, July, 4 weeks, 3 credits, ≈ € 1300 • Heidelberg, August, 4 weeks, 3 credits, ≈ € 970 • Leipzig, July, August, 4 weeks, 3 credits, ≈ € 1200 • Münster, August, 3.5 weeks, 3credits, ≈ € 900 • Weimar, August, 4 weeks, 3credits, ≈ € 1000 AUSTRIA • Wien (Vienna), July or August, 4 weeks, 3credits, ≈ € 1020 Credit Transfer: If the number of formal classroom teaching hours is above 80 and course content shown to cover the content of two courses at CUHK, Transfer of 6 credits might be possible. The decision of CUHK regarding credit transfer is non-negotiable.

  16. NOTES ON DAAD Scholarship • There will be a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for Summer 2020 of approx. EUR1800 • In the past years, two students of CUHK received this prestigious scholarship per year • New requirement: Pass the “Goethe Zertifikat–A2” test at the HK Goethe Institut (approx. after German VI) or onSET • Details to be published by DAAD in autumn 2019

  17. Note on Credit transfer: • Take a course for the experience, not the transfer! • There is no 100% guarantee that credits can be transferred • Revise your German before leaving!

  18.   19. Final Year Students • For any loan/scholarship, you must still be enrolled at CUHK during the time of your summer course. • Therefore you will not be eligible for financial aid for courses in August • You may still take the summer course, though! 
