But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, 9 who has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, 10 but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. 11 And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher. • 8你不要以給我們的主作見證為恥，也不要以我這為主被囚的為恥‧總要按神的能力，與我為福音同受苦難‧9神救了我們，以聖召召我們，不是按我們的行為，乃是按他的旨意，和恩典‧這恩典是萬古之先，在基督耶穌裡賜給我們的‧10但如今藉著我們救主基督耶穌的顯現，才表明出來了‧他已經把死廢去，藉著福音，將不能壞的生命彰顯出來‧11我為這福音奉派作傳道的，作使徒，作師傅‧

  15. F. I will be willing to suffer for Christ and His gospel. 我就会甘心樂意地為衪及衪的福音受苦.(1:12) • That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day. (NIV) • 為這緣故，我也受這些苦難‧然而我不以為恥‧因為知道我所信的是誰，也深信他能保全我所交付他的，直到那日‧

I will impart sound teaching and guard the treasure of my faith. 我就会正確教導並細心保守衪真理的宝貝.(1:13-14) • 13 What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. 14 Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.   17. H. I will not be defeated by any negative circumstances. 我就不会被逆境打敗而屈服.(1:15-18) • 15 You know that everyone in the province of Asia has deserted me, including Phygelus and Hermogenes. 16 May the Lord show mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains.
