  2. The most common teeth treatment performed on baby teeth is the Root Canal Treatment. They are typically performed on an infected tooth which is usually a result of tooth decay making its way into the pulp chamber.

  3. When a baby's tooth gets lost prematurely, it can lead to a lot of issues regarding the eventually followed permanent tooth. This happens when a baby tooth serves as a placeholder for permanent teeth, and it ensures that each permanent tooth comes out in the right position.

  4. Understanding Baby Teeth Protective outer coats called enamel are found in both primary and permanent teeth. Providing protection to the more sensitive inner layers of a tooth, such as the dentin, is its function.

  5. When the enamel gets damaged due to trauma or the acids created by the bacteria present in the mouth, the decay gets spread into the inner layer of the tooth and eventually into the pulp chamber.

  6. The pulp chamber consists of blood vessels and nerves, playing a vital role in the development of the tooth. The most obvious symptom of the pulp chamber getting compromised is consistent pain refusing to go away even after taking medicine.

  7. Infected teeth emit pus also. During Root Canal Treatment, the dentist gives an anesthetic to ensure that the pain is not felt during the treatment. Afterward, a hole is drilled into the tooth. Through the usage of files and medications, the contents of the pulp chamber are removed in order to fight the infection. Finally, the hole is sealed, and the tooth is covered with a crown.

  8. Symptoms Indicating the Need for RCT for Baby Tooth If your child has an infected tooth, visiting one of the most reputed pediatric dentist Kuwait is the first step. An examination would be done by the dentist to look for symptoms of an infected tooth, such as tooth sensitivity, toothaches, inflamed gums, and pus.

  9. A diagnostics X-ray will also be performed to get a clear understanding of what is happening beneath the gum line. Infections are a severe dental issue, and their presence in the child's bloodstream can damage the other parts of the body, like the brain and the heart, which can be life-threatening.
