The current vital records exchange process is hindered by limited participant involvement and reliance on paper copies, leading to inefficiencies and delays in data availability. This project, led by Leesa Shem-Tov from NAPHSIS, aims to establish a streamlined, automated framework that ensures compliance with data exchange rules across 57 jurisdictions. By facilitating secure messaging and fostering willing partnerships, we can enhance the timeliness and accuracy of birth and death matching processes, ultimately improving health data analytics and reporting.
