  2. Tips and Tricks • Read all directions. • Look at all pictures. • If you get stuck, look at the directions BEFORE and AFTER the step you are on. • Watch your neighbor. Ask for help or offer help if needed.

  3. Tips and Tricks • Use a practice piece of paper first. • Don’t get upset if the first try isn’t great. Throw it away and try again! • Crease FIRMLY. • Have Fun!

  4. Easy Project 1: Boat

  5. Boat Directions • Fold square in half. • Fold top edge down to meet bottom edge.

  6. Boat Directions • Turn over and fold other top edge down. • Leave one edge folded, the other unfolded.

  7. Boat Directions • Fold in corners. • Fold top to bottom matching corners.

  8. Boat Directions • Push out center. Flatten bottom. • Boat!

  9. Easy Project 2: House/Piano

  10. House/Piano Instructions • Fold in half. Leave it folded. • Fold in half the other way. Unfold.

  11. House/Piano Instructions • Fold each side to the center. • Unfold.

  12. House/Piano Instructions • Open one side. (Outside edge will touch center.) • Squash the top so you have a triangle.

  13. House/Piano Instructions • Repeat on other side. • House!

  14. House/Piano Instructions • Fold center piece up half way. • Fold center piece up again.

  15. House/Piano Instructions • Fold flaps in. Crease well. • Open to stand. • Piano!

  16. Easy Project 3: Photo Frame

  17. Photo Frame Directions • Fold and unfold paper in both directions.

  18. Photo Frame Directions • Fold corners into center. Keep folded.

  19. Photo Frame Directions • Turn over. • Fold corners into center. Keep folded.

  20. Photo Frame Directions • Turn over again. • Fold tips to outside corners.

  21. Photo Frame Directions • Unfold BACK tips. • Photo Frame!

  22. Medium Project 1: Fancy Box

  23. Fancy Box Directions • Fold diagonally both ways. • Unfold.

  24. Fancy Box Directions • Fold tips to center. • Keep folded.

  25. Fancy Box Directions • Flip over. • Fold tips to center. Keep folded.

  26. Fancy Box Directions • Fold tips to flat edge. Keep folded. • (This will be the bottom of the box.)

  27. Fancy Box Directions • Flip over. • Fold tip to corner.

  28. Fancy Box Directions • Fold tip part of the way down. • Back up again. • And back down.

  29. Fancy Box Directions • Squash the corner together. • (You can put your finger in the tip to help.)

  30. Fancy Box Directions • Repeat on all sides. • Fancy Box!
