  5. Point Of View Third Person

  6. Initial Event • This story starts with a black cat that is scared that something could be watching it. The cat is in the woods, and it is hiding in a dark place.

  7. Plot • This story starts off with a black cat hiding, saying that it feels like something is watching it. Then, all of these monsters come out of the woods, and start towards a house. The cat hides its kittens with it, while it waits to see if any monsters will see the cat. The monsters turn out to be trick-or-treaters, and they are just trick-or-treating at a house. After that, the cat and her kittens come out from under the porch, and dart to the woods. Then the cat says “good bye” to Halloween.

  8. Ending • This story ends with the cat and its kittens scurrying into the woods, and once they get into the woods, the mother/father says “goodbye” to Halloween.

  9. Personal Opinions • I did like this story, it had very nice art work • The story was short, but the quality of the story was much bigger than the story itself.

  10. Vocabulary • Peer: Look keenly at someone or something • Sunken: At a lower level than the surrounding area. • Prowl: To roam through stealthily

  11. Makayla • As always your work is great! • I would like to have known more about the point of view-Who was telling the story-Why?-What was the author hoping to accomplish writing it this way. • Final grade 100%
