  2. What is lung Cancer? • Lung cancer is a disease that is characterized by uncontrolled cell growth in the tissue of peoples lungs. • Most of the time it’s carcinomas that take the epithelial cells. • It is mainly caused by smoking tobacco, or the environment.

  3. Characteristics • It’s the most common form of cancer for adult men and woman with 1.3 million deaths annualy • It’s mainly lifestyle but can be hereditary

  4. Sings and Symptoms • The most common signs are shortness of breath, coughing up blood, weight loss, or a persistent cough, chest pain, and difficulty of swallowing. • Although 25% of people who are diagnosed with lung cancer didn’t have symptoms.

  5. Wow • It could take only one cigarette or thousands of cigarettes no one knows for sure so stay safe and never smoke

  6. Wow • It cost 25,000-35,000 dollars for chemotherapy

  7. Wow Even if you did smoke and quit your lungs will never go back to normal

  8. Treatment • There are different types of Lung cancer so there are different treatments for all of them. • •First type is non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Radiation Therapy and Chemotherapy are used in this type. • Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) surgery is less used in this type. Chemotherapy is the surgery for this type, also brain radiation to kill off tiny bits of the cancer.
