Reading/Discussing/RespondingSchedule: • October 21st – read & preparing for discussion • October 23rd- discussion #1 & response #1 • October 28th- read & preparing for discussion • October 30th- discussion #2 & response #2 • November 4th- read & preparing for discussion • November 6th- discussion #3 & response #3 • November 12th- read & preparing • November 14th – discussion #4 and response #4

  3. Lit. Circle Jobs • Discussion Director – creates discussion questions • Connector – makes connections • Literary Luminary – chooses passages to share • Vocabulary Enricher – Chooses words to share • Illustrator – creates an illustration to share • Investigator – researches an aspect of the book

  4. Tweet Your Read • Each group member must prepare a tweet for each discussion. • Purpose is to sum up your thoughts on the section of the book you read in 140 characters. A character is a letter or a space. • The tweet should prompt thinking/discussion. • Tweets will be included in your responses and posted on a Tweet Deck in the classroom.
