CALCULATING YOUR FINAL GRADE • Your midterm: max. 100 points • Your quiz plus your final: max. 100 points • Your three papers: max. 2 x 25 points + max. 50 points = max. 100 points • All these points will be added up and divided by 3. That number will be your preliminary final grade. From that number will be subtracted penalty points for excessive absences, and extra credit points (max.4) will be added.
