Descriptive Adjectives Exercise: Enhancing Observation Skills
The aim of this exercise is to analyze a series of pictures and brainstorm adjectives that describe the primary subject. Focus on the people in the images rather than the background. Students will have two minutes per image to generate as many suitable adjectives as possible. Points will be awarded based on the relevance and complexity of the adjectives used. The student with the highest score will be declared the winner. This activity encourages observation, creativity, and effective communication.

Exercise in Description - People • The purpose of this exercise is to look at a picture and come up with as many appropriate adjectives to describe the main or only character in the picture. • The focus for description is on the people, not the scenery. • Students will have two (2) minutes per image to come up with as many adjectives as they can. Points will be awarded based on the appropriateness and difficulty of the adjectives. • The student with the most points will win.
