Barbara Ann Garcia is an executive leadership coach awarded with a public managerial leadership award by the City and County of San Francisco.
Barbara A. Garcia is a healthcare professional who has worked at different centers as an executive. She was an executive director of Salud Para La Gente Health Center in Watsonville, California from 1984 to 1995. She then, joined Health and Human Services as an associate administrator of AIDS where she developed a needle exchange policy paper for SAMHSA.
Barbara A. Garcia worked at the City and County of San Francisco as a director of homeless services, director of community substance abuse services, deputy director, and then director of health in the department of public health. Her contribution to the department improved with performance and laws of public health.
Using her experience as a director and executive director for healthcare, Barbara A. Garcia now provides consulting services to non-profit health organizations. Other than being a professional self-employed consultant, Barbara Garcia also hosts the podcast called “HealthCare Untold” to talk about healthcare needs and leadership.
