  1. Conway’s Classroom Connection What’s Happening Reminders Reading –Students will continue reading novels with partners over the next few weeks. There will be daily assignments that correspond with each novel. Language – Narrative writing continues to be our focus in language. Word Work boxes are due on Wednesday, with a quiz being given on Friday. Math – Our geometry lessons this week will cover classification of triangles. There will be a quiz on Friday. Social Studies – Chapter ten will lead us into the French and Indian War. Science– We will begin our unit on volcanoes this week. • Monday, April 7: • - • Tuesday, April 8: • Wednesday, April 9: • Thursday, April 10: • - Talent Show 6:30 p.m. • Friday, April 11: • Word Work Quiz • Math Quiz • Hoops for Heart Assembly School Supplies Please ask your student if he or she needs any school supplies. Many students do not have scissors, glue, or even pencils to use on a daily basis. These materials will continue to be necessary for students to complete their assignments. 04/07/14
