  2. Macro photography is up close and usually of small objects. • Macro- any photographic where you get close to the subject. Zoom lenses usually have a macro setting where they get close enough • You can take a macro photo with a normal lens but for a good macro photo you have to change the lens to a certain one • macro photography is where you are working around 1:1 ratio and closer which gives an photo on film that is equal in size or larger than the picture being taken

A macro photo can see more clearly then a human eye • The pictures get more interesting the closer you get because of all the detail • Bugs, flowers, a tip of a pencil can all be macro pictures • The range from life size up to ten times bigger is strict macro photography • The range from life size should is called close-up photography.

I think anyone could take a macro photo if they use their imagination and a good camera; its pretty simple • In all macro photography as the lens gets closer to the subject and the image gets larger on the film, the less light reaches the film • A tripod is need for steadiness and an accurate photo • Make sure the lighting and aperture is correct
