Regulatory Reference 23 CFR 450.324 • (c) TIP shall include capital & non-capital transportation projects (or phases of projects) • (e) TIP shall include an estimated total project cost, which may extend beyond the four years of the TIP • (g) The TIP shall include only projects that are consistent with the transportation plan • (h) TIP shall include a financial plan • (i) The TIP shall include a project, or a phase of a project, only if full funding can reasonably be anticipated to be available

Take Home Message • Ensuring TIP/Plan consistency • Project listings in TIP must be consistent in the Plan • Adopted resolution should reflect TIP/Plan consistency • Include total project cost with authorized phases • TIP/Plan & NEPA • Project(s) must be in the MPO’s fiscally constraint Plan and TIP prior to FHWA approval of ROD, FONSI, or CE • Conformity Requirements
