Exploring Overseas: My UBC Experience as a Climate Science Student

Enriching my international Master's degree, I delved into local research on Fire Weather and Climate at UBC. Immersed in a multiethnic setting, I navigated a different education system through weekly assignments and one-shot exams. While my social interactions were primarily with international students, the campus facilities and clubs offered a vibrant experience. Beyond academics, I seized travel opportunities to the Canadian Rockies and Vancouver Island, immersing myself in First Nation culture.
