Engaging UC Students in DC: Opportunities at the UC Washington Center

The UC Washington Center provides a unique experience for upper-division students through residential internships and credit classes in Washington, DC. However, challenges arise from limited technology resources, such as inadequate AV facilities and the absence of a video conferencing lab. Despite these obstacles, efforts to connect with students through email follow-ups, promotion of UC libraries, and creative techniques have yielded success. Additionally, fun trips to DC enhance student engagement and foster connections with faculty.
