  1. New HFC underground cabinets New LA underground cabinet (1 LA max.+ 3 RF passives) New FN underground cabinet (high capacity)

  2. Waterproof (IP68) sheet molding compound cabinet • Up to 1 Last Amplifier and 3 RF passives • Up to 35 watt inside heat dissipation • Compact size, easy installation, low cost

  3. Waterproof (IP68) carbon steel cabinet • Typical capability: 1 Optical Termination, 1 E/O Converter, 1 Launch Amplifier, 1 Last Amplifer, 1 Power Supply, a set of passives • Up to 200 watt inside all passive heat dissipation • Push-pull pantograph for easy equipment extraction

  4. In 1996 Sirti Polska carried out the crossing of Vistula river near the centre of Warsaw by means of a 770 m directional drilling

  5. In 1996 Sirti Portugal carried out the installation of an 840 km optical cable link along a TRANSGAS gas-pipeline by means of air blowing • 6 km optical cable drums were used • 4 intermediate blowing points for each cable drum were located by means of calculations in order to consider installation conditions

  6. Air blowing installation main features: • Cable diameter: 13 mm • Cable weight: 150 g/m • Duct inner diameter: 41 mm • Air speed: 3000 m/min. • Cable speed: 50 m/min. • 1-2 cable drums (6-12 km) a day on average Sirti Portugal’s TRANSGAS Project

  7. Since 1983 (Suvereto, Italy, 1000 kV power line for ENEL) Sirti has been installing aerial optical cable of different types. Present activities are: • ADSS cable: 100 km link for Telecom Colombia (350 m of cable for each span) • OPGW cable: 300 km link for ENEL • Wrapped cable: 1300 km link for ENEL

  8. Ad hoc, low cost and easy istallation solutions for special situations are often directly designed by Sirti The installation of a leaky cable for mobile services into a railway tunnel is carried out by means of properly designed accessories

  9. All dielectric broad band link • 2 GHz downstream bandwidth • Low environmental impact • Easy installation • Full compliance with future network and service evolution • Up to 4 user terminal equipment • Low cost
