Tips

  • Become familiar with “Released Items” from website

    • 2005 and 2006 released 100% of items

    • 2007 and 2008 released Independent Reading items

    • 2009 and on, not releasing any items but Item Descriptors are available on the MEAP website

  • For CR items, impress upon students importance of answering question that was asked

  • Don’t “drill and kill” just before the test
