    3. Advantages of Capacitive Works with powders, bulk solids, and liquids. No mechanical parts – no jams, no wear, nothing to break, no maintenance. Works with difficult applications: slurries, liquids with solids, and coating products.

    4. Capacitive Technology Probe senses the absence or presence of material in contact with the probe by the change in capacitance between air and the material.

    5. Specifications Wetted Materials: 316SS and Kynar. Process Temperature Range: -40 to 250°F (-40 to 121°C). Maximum Pressure: 365 psi (25 bar). Process Connection: 3/4" NPT standard, Optional: 1", 1-1/4" NPT; 3/4", 1", 1-1/2" BSP, 1", 1-1/2", 2" sanitary clamp. Conduit Connection: 3/4" NPT or M20.

    6. Specifications DPDT snap switch rated 8A @ 120/240 VAC, 30 VDC. Enclosure: Standard weatherproof rated UL and CE. Optional Explosion-proof rated UL and CSA or ATEX. Probe of rigid rod or braded cable.

    7. Features Standard wetted materials meet food grade requirements. Sensor has coat-shield so that it is not effected by product coating on the probe.

    9. Universal Power Supply Universal power supply: 12 to 250 VAC/DC

    10. External Indication Light On weatherproof models. Bright red LED that lights up to indicate switch status. Blinks when unit is calibrating.

    11. Auto-Calibration No turn pots! Unit has push button calibration. Just install the unit and push the calibration button. Or the unit has external calibration from attached magnet. Do not have to open the enclosure!

    12. Built in Time Delay Adjustable from .2 to 60 seconds. Large, easy to move turn-pot. Used to stop chatter from fluctuating levels. Can prevent false alarms from surges or splashing.

    13. Failsafe If unit loses power output relays can be selected to revert to normally open or closed condition. Selectable by internal switch. Prevents process accidents caused by power loss. User selects fail safe condition for the process.

    14. Internal Indication Lights Switch status LED – lights when switch is energized. Power status LED – lights when unit has power. Probe status LED – lights when probe senses product. Clear window cover for easy viewing of internal LED’s.

    15. Removable Terminals Terminal strip easily removable with just a screw driver. Take it out, wire it up, and snap it back in. No worrying about fitting wires inside.
