What is Chicken SeekhKabab? Chicken seekh kebab is juicy, flavorful ground meat croquette. It is blended with herbs, warm spices, and aromatics before it is skewered and grilled to perfection in the oven or air fryer. It gives an irresistible taste when eaten with mint cilantro or chutney. It can also be wrapped in Naan for a delicious meal. From a health point of view, chicken seekhkababis healthy food. It is made with lean ground halal chicken, which is much lower in calories and fat in comparison to ground red meat. You can also use it as an appetizer.

Making of Chicken SeekhKababs When it comes to making kababs, peeled ginger, garlic cloves, shallot chunks, Serrano chili, and cilantro are added in a small food processor. It is pulsed until everything kept inside it gets minced. Then, ground chicken and shredded carrots are added to it. Thereafter, garam masala, paprika, olive oil, and lime juice is mixed. Now, the mixture is divided evenly into eight portions. Food-grade gloves for a mess-free process of making kebabs are used. Two tablespoons of oil are poured into a small bowl. A cook wets their palms with oil, takes one portion of the chicken mixture, and rolls it into a cylindrical or oblong shape by gently pressing it together. They thread a skewer through the spiced chicken mix and place the skewers on a plate and keep making kababs.
An air fryer is preheated at 400°F for two minutes. A cook keeps the skewers in the fryer basket, leaving a ½-inch gap between them. They cook them for 10–12 minutes or until the time the kebabs turn light brown. They may also use a meat thermometer to check the required temperature, which is 165°F or even higher. • Finally, a cook places the kababs skewers on a lined baking sheet and then places the sheet on the top rack. There, the kababs are broiled for 6–7 minutes on the first side. Then, they are flipped and cooked for another 3–4 minutes until they cook through.
