Welcome to The Infrastructure Show

  • The Infrastructure Show (TIS) is the UK’s leading exhibition and conference dedicated to civil engineering projects in the infrastructure and utilities sector – long successful history.
  • TIS is delivered in partnership with the leading clients in each of the key infrastructure construction markets and the New Civil Engineer
  • Utilities, Roads, Airports and Rail are the core markets
  • The clients attend to identify innovations that can help them solve the problems they face in delivering complex world class infrastructure with shrinking budgets and ever greater environmental sensitivities.

Client Partners

  • Clients are at the heart of TIS. These clients manage the contractor and consultant supply chains that drive the industry. Enormous annual expenditure.
  • Clients exhibit because they want you to bring your innovations to their attention. Why? Because they have to deliver exceptional things in tight timescales, with shrinking budgets. You may be able to help.
  • Don’t just take our word for it:
  • “Our senior programme directors and supply chain procurement teams will be present at the event to listen and learn”
  • Kim Coulson – programme development manager, Network Rail
  • “We had a very good show, and we received excellent feedback from suppliers and institutions alike”
  • Sarah Goodburn, Communications Manager, Crossrail

The Rail Hub – Building on Success

  • The Rail Hub was the strongest and best attended of all the Hubs in 2010
  • Keynote sessions on Crossrail and Network Rail projects were standing room only
  • The Hub was constantly busy over three days – with clients delighted with the results.
  • Network Rail and Crossrail are back again bigger and more committed than ever before. TIS is the only exhibition Crossrail will be at in 2011. £4bn being spent over the next 18 months!
  • We are speaking to HS2 and LUL to partner with them to ensure all the key issues are covered

Rail Hub Seminar Content in 2011

Content is focussed around the three days of the event

Day 1. Crossrail

Day 2. Network Rail

Day 3. High Speed Rail

Most sessions are 25 minute presentations made by a single presenter. Presentations are on the hour, five each day. Some sessions are panel discussions of 3-5 people lasting 40 minutes.

Last year one day was chaired by Colin of the Rail Alliance.

Discussions will be moderated by Antony Oliver of New Civil Engineer, or another industry commentator.

All content is free to attend. There is no similar opportunity in the event calendar, and there are no other chances to meet the three biggest rail clients and contractors all in one defined space over three days.
