  2. Purpose of Test • This assessment was given one time on September 18, 2012. • In this assessment I expected students to be able to extend their knowledge on the history, safety and execution of Step Aerobics • The assessment was graded out of 100 points, with each question being worth 4 points

  3. Test Questions

  4. Test Questions

  5. JT: 92% • Adam: 92% • Kasey: 96% • Tim: 100% (anyone surprised??) Overall Grades All questions were worth 4 points each. Class Average: 95%

  6. Questions Missed (1-12)

  7. Questions Missed (13-25)

  8. Problems with Test • Question #1: One person missed one. This was most likely due to the fact that one of the choices (A) for the answer was mentioned in the study guide, but was not the specific answer to that question. The correct answer was B. • Question #2: This was a multiple choice question with a few debatable answers. The correct answer was A. The two people that missed the question chose C and D as their answers.

  9. Problems with Test Cont’d • Question #13: This was a True/False question. This question was a bit tricky based on the wording, but if read carefully it is false because smooth stepping includes NO steps while transitioning to another step.

  11. Changes to Test • If I were to rewrite my test I would consider changes the answer choices on the most missed multiple choice questions and maybe rewording the True/False question that was most missed as well. • Any other suggestions from my test takers??
