  • The event will be held in the parking lot of the Memorial and N. Penn PetSmart.
    • The address is 2140 W. Memorial Rd.
    • All parking is free, but please park in the lot of the empty Westies Shoes building, located behind the tents.

  • Staying in your assigned areas
  • Following the job description for your area
  • Welcoming visitors and answering questions
  • Handing out OK Humane brochures
  • Other duties as assigned

Volunteer Rules
  • The Volunteers must stay in their areas unless they request a floater to fill their spot for a break
  • Night shifts: volunteers must be awake at all times
  • Length appropriate shorts or jeans (no holes/tears) and volunteer t-shirt supplied by OK Humane. Closed toed shoes only please.
  • If you are unable to come to your shift, call Amy at (405) 213-8788

  • Chairs will be available at the event
    • During busy times we ask that all volunteers are standing and greeting visitors
  • Snacks and bottled water (Provided by Sonic) will be available throughout the day in the PetSmart Meeting Room
  • Meal times are at 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
    • Overnight volunteers should bring snacks if they feel they will get hungry

  • PetSmart will be open 24/7 after kick-off
  • Port-o-potty will be available to use at the event site
  • If you need to go inside PetSmart, you will need to report to an OK Humane Staff member or a lead Volunteer first. This is to make sure we have a floater that can cover your area
