  • Poster Presentations the Following Week In Lab

  • Same topic as Oral Presentation
  • Come to lab with printed poster and material to hang it on wall (tape, etc..)
  • Must submit text to Turnitin.com (see website)
  • Be prepared to answer questions from TAs & faculty
  • Be the EXPERT on your topic!

    • Should be appropriate to experiment conducted
    • Include full names of all group members
  • Abstract:
    • Short paragraph that summarizes entire experiment
    • Should include general trends in data and major conclusions
  • Introduction:
    • What was the purpose of the experiment?
    • Give background on experiment, function of instruments, specialized techniques used, species anatomy & physiology
    • Two sources from scientific journal
