Nowadays Faculty consists three departments: Department of Food Technology and Quality Evaluation, Department of Food Engineering and Process Management and Departmentof Chemistry. Faculty has 93 employees. More than 900 students are studding. Studies are of a natural scienceand technology character. The optimal character of studies enables individual development of the student’s interests. OBJECTIVES: - Prepare Skilled graduates to support the food industry, able to act in different areas like: . Production . Quality Control and Quality Management . Development of New Products and Processes . Research and Development . Distribution and Marketing . Industry Management . Consulting and Education The graduates work: 10% in Research and Development 90% in Food Industry - Establish the connection between the academic, scientific and industrial realities A five year higher diploma, after 12 undergraduate study years. The disciplines are grouped in 6 main topics: 90% Compulsory 10 % Optional distributed as: Opportunities to go abroad: - 1 semester in the 5th year - financed by different programmes: Socrates / Erasmus, Leonardo, Tempus, Food Industry
