Program status • MSG-1 • Satellite and GS commissioning activities are proceeding as presented by EUMETSAT. • MSG-2 • Flight Acceptance will be done in two phases: • Pre-storage • Readiness for shipment • The Pre-storage review started 15 April 2003. • Review Board took place at ESTEC on 18/06/03 • Board agreed that satellite was ready for storage,and made a number of recommendations about activities to be carried before de-storage.

  4. PIs information • MSG RAO Principal Investigators were contacted by ESA and EUMETSAT to inform about SEVIRI and Envisat & ERS data plans and availability. • PIs had the possibility of proposing changes in their projects, including new data requirements. • The information exchange WEB page for the MSG RAO is:msg.esa-ao.org • Co-Is can access using the PI pwd • PIs will submit reports through the dedicated ESA AO Web site:http://eopi.esa.int/esa/esa. • Each project has been assigned a correspondent from ESA or EUMETSAT.

  5. Those PIs who have requested ESA EO data, can contact the Help Desk: eohelp@esa.int • ERS and Envisat data can be requested at PIs convenience. Technical information can be accessed viawww.eumetsat.dewww.esa.int/msg/ envisat.esa.int/ earth.esa.int/ers/
