Our trip to Kentwell Hall
Join Sycamore Class as we embark on an exciting trip to Kentwell Hall, immersing ourselves in Tudor history. Dressed in our Tudor costumes, we experienced traditional dances and learned about daily life in the Tudor era. Although I felt nervous at first, the presence of my friends made the day unforgettable. We explored a smoky kitchen where we learned about Tudor food preparation and enjoyed the beautiful garden designed to depict the tale of the Pied Piper. This trip brought history to life in an engaging and fun way!

Our trip to Kentwell Hall This is our group called Sycamore class . We were going to Kentwell Hall . We were dressed as Tudors because it was part of our topic on Tudors this term.
Me in my costume This is me in my Tudor costume My mum bought my whole costume online because I couldn’t get any materiel. When I went to school I felt nervous but when I saw my friends I felt excited. Zoe look at the camera!
Dancing We went to the field and two people taught us a Tudor dance. I felt excited to do it. It was really fun but tiring. I sometimes got the steps wrong.
Kitchen The kitchen was very smoky. I smelt the food and I felt very hungry. The lady was talking about killing the animals except the lovely peacocks. There were kidneys, a goose, marzipan, soup and much more.
The Garden The garden was very nice. The hedges was cut to show the story of the Pied Piper. There were children dancing around and there was a little boy left behind with his dog. I could really imagine it in my head.
